Great idea, Linda, so here's my story.
I came to Pulsedata after using the gps-talk and something happened to the
notebook on which that wonderful program was housed, I'm not quite sure what
but the thing died.
And there wasn't a way to charge it. Since it was under the waranty and still
had about 6 months left on it my dealer took it back and gave me a full refund
and said for me to apply it toward the new gps coming out in 2002. Ok so I was
given the opportunity to seeand have atrial with the voicenote while a friend
was out of town on memorial day weekend and the week beyond in 2002 and on May
24, 2002, I placed my order for the Bn for the exclusive use of the gps and
absolutely nothing else as my good ol desktop was doing everything else.
Things were actually that way pretty much for the first eleven months of this
Braillenote's life after receiving it on July 22, 2002 5 days after my birthday.
Anyway then my desktop an old pentium II bit the dust completely and I bought
an IBM T-30 which has been the computer from Hell. Thus the Braille Note has
taken over all of my computing needs with the exception of my finances which
have been religated to the Braille Lite and I have found in this machineone of
the most wonderful little work horses imaginable.
I am not nearly as smart as many of you college students so I have found the
simplicity of the browser and e-mail clients truly wonderous. Yes, I would like
usb ports and wireless on here if that is possible but being one who has come
from the days of the smith carona and Hull Braille Typewriters this machine is
truly astounding to me.
No longer just religated to the gps which is truly fun and marvelous, I can't
help but saying that Pulsedata in my book desserves the golden Motherboard
award of the year.
