Hi Kim.

It would be nicde to be able to change the battery on your own, but at this
time you have to send the unit in for a new battery.  I don't see why you
would need to pay so myuch to repolace the battery.  I just paid 219.34 to
have a battery replaced as well as a new adapter.

Question: Does the BrailleNote have to be sent back to California every time
the batteries need changing? (That would mean, if the battery has a life of
about 18 months, that you'd be sending your unit back just about every year.
An expensive proposition. Can you change the batteries yourself?
