Hello Mary Ellen,

The email functionality and interface is exactly the same in KeySoft 6.1. The difference is that the email client has been rewritten due to the new operating system. In part, this is the reason for the problems being experienced, which obviously, we are keen to deal with.

The BrailleNote list is set so that when you reply to a message, you send a message to the list rather than to the individual who sent the message. This is an Admin setting in the list software. However, you are able to change the "to" field to reflect the sender's address easily enough.

Subject: [Braillenote] Question about e-mail client in 6.1

Hi!
Will there be the ability for the e-mail client in 6.1 for you to add addresses to the address book the way outlook express lets you? Also will we be able to send a message to the sender only or is this something regulated by the Humanware list administrators? Thank you.
Mary Ellen Earls
