Hi,

Web Braille is a service through NLS. You have to have your regional
talking book library get you set up for it with a user name and password.
Then you can browse the NLS online catalog and download web braille books.
You can use them on a braille note, or read them on your PC, with a braille
display, or if you have software such as duxbury, you can translate them to
text and have your screen reader read them. many books are available in
this format. Be sure to read all the help information about getting your PC
set up for web braille files. Enjoy.

Sherry

Subject: [Braillenote] Web Braille

Hello All:

This may sound like the dumbest question of all, but What the heck is Web
Braille?? and How do I get access to it?? I have been a bookshare
subscriber for a while, but wasn't aware of this other source for online
books. I've seen occasionally that certain books on the NLS catalog are
downloadable, is this the same??

Anyway, thanks for your help in advance

Jeff
