Hi Rich: I can't really answer your questions, but I can tell you my trick that would eliminate all of them. *smile*
The url for web books tacks the book number plus its volume number to the regular web address. For instance, if you were reading a book with the number 5729, the url for the first volume would look something (not exactly), like www.loc.gov/nls/braille/5729v01.brf Or something similar. I can't remember if the letters br are in there or not but really, it's not important. Therefore, a much easier and quicker way to move from volume to volume would be to do the following After saving, presumably, volume one of the book you are downloading, simply press space with e, so that the current URL is displayed on the address bar. Navigate your cursor to where the url state (v 01), and simple change the one to a two, and press enter. This will bring up the page of volume two. You can repeat this process for as many volumes the book has.
