i had this exact issue with a braille note i afraid
the card must be corrupt.
If you leave the card in the unit when you turn it off or reset it it mucks
up
sorry for this but that's what the bn bt32 did to me, exactly the same
problem bud

I seem to have a major problem, and I cannot seem to figure out a
solution. Last night my PK stopped recognizing CF cards. The pk does not
recognize my memory card or my network card. When I plug them in the PK
says card not recognized. I attempted every reset in the book. When I do
a
4 5 6 reset the PK does not ask to go through the time setup. I am
wondering if this is normal for a PK. Has anyone else ever had this
problem? Thanks
