Bob,
How fast does your Embosser emboss? Mine is 40 CPS. If yours is slower
than that, this could be part of your problem. I'd try a Romeo or some
other embosser which is actually a single sided embosser. You wouldn't
want to wear down the hammers on one side prior to the other side wearing
down. I only use my Juliet for interpoint embossing since I don't wish one
side to wear down before the other. This has happened to me and the
embosser is almost useless! It is expensive to fix as well so have single
sided embossers on hand to take care of those documents which are single
sided. This has been a good solution for me.

Hi, Jim: I am using 5.1, build 22. I do know that, on a 30-page document,
it will usually give me the "embossing complete" message by page 11. If I

I don't remember what the embosser was that Lutheran Blind Missions loaned
me, before I got the Versapoint, but it was a one-sided embosser--maybe, a
juliet.
You're right, when you say the BN doesn't go to sleep, but that doesn't
seem to help. Someday, I may try an experiment, and emboss a 35-page
document, using only one side of the paper, though I hate to waste the
paper. Still, it might be interesting to see what happens. I, too, hope
this is addressed in 6.1. God bless. Bob and Maxy-wax
