Antonio, 1. DOS programs can't be run on the BrailleNote, as the BrailleNote uses Windows CE, which is a sort of slim line version of Windows optimized for portable devices. 2. Traditional Windows programs can't be run on the BrailleNote, as the processor used in the BrailleNote isn't a standard X86 processor as found in your desktop or laptop computers. Also, as the only "standard" readily available Windows CE consumer platform, or, at least, the only platform for which we're seeing applications written, is Pocket PC, you can't run what you might call "standard Windows CE software" on the BrailleNote. As a side note, myself, I'd enjoy seeing a talking Handheld PC (H/PC), but my interest there is purely esoteric, and based mostly on the notion that I hate the idea of a platform I can't develop for solely on the basis that nothing from that platform talks.
