Hi Jerry,

If I'm hearing you correctly, I don't think the issue you're experiencing is to do with the version in ROM but rather a KeySoft 5 or 5.1 issue applying to the flashdisk builds.

You shouldn't have to reinstall the spell checker whatsoever when running KeySoft 6.1 and our beta testers haven't seen any issues relating to the loss of the spell checker so there's a bit of positive news for you Jerry!

Subject: [Braillenote] Spell Check and ROM V 3.7

Dear Dean,
Will the repetitive installation of the spell checker on to the Braillenote continue to be required for those of us having Keysoft 3.7 burned into ROM, with the pending release of Keysoft? I effectively cannot use my spell checker on the Braillenote. It is not that re-installing the Keysoft spell checker after the ocational four five six reset is that big a deal. However, most of the time I cannot stop and look up the instructions for this re-installation of the spell checker.

Sincerely,
Jerry Weinger
