Hi, Stacey:
I was in a hurry this morning when I responded, so let me try it again,
incase I left out something.
First of all, maybe it would be easier to put the name in the address
book first so that you get it out of the way. That's what I do, and it
seems less complicated.
Move to the "from" field of the e-mail, and press FUNCTION with L.
This field will now show.
Move to the e-mail address you wish to copy in the e-mail headers, and
press CONTROL with C. This will copy the field to the clipboard. Now,
press FUNCTION with 7 to switch to the Address List. Look up the record to
which you wish to copy the e-mail address.
Once on any field in this record, press CONTROL with K so that you may
modify the fields for this record.
Space until you reach the appropriate e-mail address field, and press
CONTROL with V to paste the field from the e-mail header you copied
previously in to the Address List.
Note that, if there was a name with the e-mail address in the header,
this was also copied from the header, and therefore pasted, in to the
Address List, so you will have to delete it.
Use a Home command FUNCTION with LEFT ARROW, to move to the beginning
of the pasted text, and use the Delete Current Word command CONTROL with K,
as many times as is necessary. Then, use the Delete Current Character
command CONTROL with Comma to delete the less-than sign. Then, use the End
command FUNCTION with RIGHT ARROW to move to the endof the field and press
BACKSPACE to delete the greater-than sign. When only the e-mail address
remains, press CONTROL with ENTER to save your changes.
