I use my title field as a means of searching for a group of people. Let me go back to my "music" example. When I add an address I put the word music in the title field. Now when I want to look up music students, instead of going to the last name field, I move to the title field, type in the word music and hit enter. Now I can see just the people with the title music. To move forward through the list of people in the music group you use space with dots 5-6: to move backward use space with dots 2-3.
