I've had the BN say battery low when it really wasn't, and I just ignore it. It used to do this a lot more in earlier versions. I don't know what goes on to make the BN aware when its battery is low or why sometimes it falsely thinks its battery is low. But I don't think it's anything to worry about. I just tell my BN it's a liar, and keep on using it. <smile>

Peggy <who wonders if there are any other users who talk to their machines, saying things like, "Yes, I know your battery is low; quit whining," or "Your battery isn't critical, you lying machine", etc.>

Hi: - This afternoon while reviewing, and making an addition to my
address book, I received the low battery warning notice, which sort of
surprised me since not having operated my BN very much this week, and
just having given it a full charge last Sunday night. However, by
checking the battery level with the "escape plus read function, I
observed that the battery level was reading at 54%. Should I consider
this a red flag notice of a potential problem with my battery, or should
I more or less consider it a BN fluke, and not worry about it. My BN is
only about five (5) months old. All the best. - Kim
