Hi,
I think most of those printers will work, especially if you get the driver for
the brand of printer or otherwise a driver for a brand which that printer
emulates.
If you have a scanner and a program such as Kurzweil 1000 or openbook, you
could try a scan and see how it is.
I'll bet the formatting is pretty close if not actually right on too.

Hello Don,
You seem to be right. I connected my HP 1100 to the VoiceNote with a
parallel cable and looked in printer setup to see if anything needed
changing. I then printed the readme for 611 file to see what would
happen. It seemed to print with no problem but will have to wait for
someone with eyeballs to come around to see what the formatting looks like.

Richard,
I don't know for sure, but I'd try it and see. There is a driver
in the braillenote/voicenote for hp printers, so select that in the
printer setup options, select the
parallel port, and give it a try.
I have an hp2100 laser printer here and it works very well with the
braillenote both with the ir port and the parallel port.
As far as printers go, the braillenote and voicenote support is
really the same and it will either work or not, but no harm done.

I have a HP 1100XI Laser printer that was formerly used with my Win

connection and I was wondering if this printer could be used with
my Voice Note. Rick
