The strap on the BN carrying case has always been just fine for me also.  I 
was wondering if I was the only one who liked the strap that came with the 
BN. (Grin)
BTW, Jim, did you get my message about the cell phone manual?

Hello list,

It seems to me that one can find shoulder straps most anywhere which could
latch onto the BN carrying case.  The shoulder pad can be replaced as
well.  Try straps from an old back pack or purse, or from some other
electronics equipment.  I think they are more common than one might think!
So far as I can see, the strap from my BN case works fine for me but I do
understand what you are saying!
