Folks what is the hash sign used for.  It must be something from down under.  I 
just wondered what it's used for.   Thank you.

No, the hash sign is dots 3456 and the dash sign is dots 36.

John:  I believe the hash sign is dots 3 6.  Hope I'm right!   It's
