Hello list,
I believe I had a rather successful day with sending and receiving Email
with Keysoft 6.1. As I stated yesterday, I received nine posts
successfully with no difficulty! I left all messages on the server so at
the end of the day, I had 158 messages in my BN. I read all those messages
without having to empty the trash once! Most posts took a half second to a
second to move to trash once I executed the command. Sometimes a message
might take 3 seconds or so to be moved to trash! Gone are those long waits
till a message is moved to trash! On a couple of occasions, I got some
kind of read error and the downloading of messages was aborted. I started
the process over again and managed to download what was on the server at
the time. The process was painless as I see it! I made some attempts to
send a very long post by pasting keysoft readme 5.0 into a post. That sent
okay! I believe Rhonda may have received one I sent with Keysoft 5.0 and
5.1 pasted in. My Isp couldn't believe there was such a thing as
consolidated.net but then what can I say? I tried sending a post with
Keysoft Readme 5.0, 5.1 and 6.1 pasted in. My machine locked up! That
wouldn't send! Perhaps these files can be used as a general standard for
what can be pasted into the body of an Email. Perhaps any problems of
this sort will be taken care of with 6.11. I also went to the NLS braille
site but didn't stay long. Just wanted to make certain Key Web was working!
I probably won't be doing much with Email and Web Brouzing with my BN BT
till I get the wireless card. I then will put it through its paces! I did
send myself a piece of Email with a microsoft Word attachment and that
worked just fine! The BN read the attachment with no difficulty!
