Subject: [Braillenote] Upgrade and Laptop
I have a friend who has a Voice Note with version 5.0 of Keysoft. Of
course, it has the old WindowsCE 2.11 on it. Can he upgrade to 6.11 by
just installing the download from the web, or will he have to send the unit
back to be upgraded. I did this with mine, so I could get 6.11 burned in
to my unit. A friend told me I didn't need to send the unit back. What's
the full story here?
I am getting a new laptop. It doesn't have a serial or infrared port, but
it does have both built-in Ethernet as well as wireless networking. Can I
use wireless networking to synchronize my Voice Note with the computer? If
so, how do I do this? How do I keep Active Sync from interfering with my
wireless card when I want to use the computer for other things?
