It says dis because your note is set for Braille grade 2, it is an error in the software that we cannot make the speech say otherwise, the man in the box doesn't know you are using "dis" as a dollar sign, he can only repeat what is programmed into his chip brain; he cannot determine a dollar sign because his chip does not let him know that. The "dis" for dollar sign is correct.

No, the 4-6 isn't a dollar sign. It's either going to be a 2-5-6 with the number sign, or the 1-2-4-6 if it's computer braille. Did you write it in grade two? If you created the file "nut sales", what is the folder name? After creating a file, you wouldn't put any kine of puctuation in the file name, unless it's a file extension. Can you email your file to me possibly so I can look? Or, if you can talk on the phone, I'll be glad to call. ___ To leave the BrailleNote list, send a blank message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] To view the list archives or change your preferences, visit http://list.pulsedata.com/mailman/listinfo/braillenote ___ To leave the BrailleNote list, send a blank message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] To view the list archives or change your preferences, visit http://list.pulsedata.com/mailman/listinfo/braillenote
