Hello Terry:

Using dots 2,4,6 for a dollar sign is correct. However, it must be
immediately followed (no spaces) by a number sign in order to be read as a
dollar sign.

Also, try inserting a binding space by pressing enter with b (control with
space) after the semicolon. I'm rushed so sorry this is brief. Laura
