Lisa, you need to talk to HumanWare's tech support, long distance call
or not. The frequent resets are not a good thing, but neither is any of
the other stuff you mentioned. Call them. The unit should not have come
back to you with problems it didn't have when it went away. We on this
list don't have the expertise to fix these issues.

Subject: [Braillenote] have to reset bn to check email and battery
update

Hi Everyone,
Okay I'm noticing since my BN was repaired that I have to reset the BN
every 20 minutes or so when I'm trying to access the Internet or email.
I'm using an Eterthenet card to access my email and the Internet. I
doubt resetting the BN frequently is helpful to the BN. I'll contact my
ISP in the morning to make sure none of the settings were changed
although doubtful since they contact me when settings need to be
changed. I just keep finding more issues with my BN which is annoying.
I checked the battery gauge and it was accurate. I guess I got a bad
battery? I charged the unit you a little bit like 20 minutes. I'm
curious to see how long it goes without saying battery is critical.
Perhaps I was given a bad battery? I have not dropped the unit. It has
been in my posession for less than 48 hours and it has all of these
issues. Everytime I write in a file I fear the data will be lost. I
fear upgrading my BN will cause more problems.

Lisa
