Hi Maryellen,
That is EXTREMELY bad news as I just sent my BN in for a new battery and cleaning. Three weeks in California! Broken key! Jonathan, if this is typical of Humanware, I for one believe that it is HIGH time to begin terminating some personnel with extreme prejudice, not really killing them of course, but making sure that they never again darken the door of a blindness-related business of any kind. This equipment that they think of as just another BrailleNote is not just equipment to us, it is almost a pardner.

I just want you all to know that my braille note just returned from 3 weeks in California with a broken key. That is simply not acceptable and I hope Jonathan you pass this to Dr. Smith. The Bn is going to be picked up sometime tomorrow and I have to sit at home waiting for the folks to come and this means I have had to cansel an appointment and reschedule which is inconveniencing the other person. So anyone who is reading this from humanware, please instruct your personnel that they must please be careful in packing this equipment. This is the second time I have had to return this machine because of faulty repairs. The last was because I couldn't download the manual in April, 2003. So again Please take the time and watch what you are doing for heaven's sake with this equipment.

Remember! Today is the Tomorrow you thought about yesterday.
