While we are talking about stereo I still would like a question as to why we
have a stereo plug which will not work with a mono earphone. I have several
stereo and non stereo appliances at home which will work fine with either plug
and do not mind which. Also

, why is it necessary to increase the volume on the earphones to such high
level in order to have useable volume. On removal of the earphones either
planned or not the speaker volume is obnoxiously loud. Again Other appliances
do not exhibit this problem from the cheep $2.00 radio to the $5000 stereo.

      thank you!

Yes. The Braillenote does not currently support stereo sound. I don't
believe that can be changed without changing the sound chip that is
currently being used.
However, perhaps someone from PDI can address this one more thoroughly.

Subject: [Braillenote] STEREO: CAN IT BE IMPLEMENTED??

Hello Everyone:

When I listen to MP3 files on my BrailleNote, it is monaural. Is there
a
reason why I can't get stereo sounds coming through te headset?

Sincerely,
Olusegun
