Hello folks,

It has been a long weekend here in NZ, which is why there hasn't been much
noise from down under. I was also out of the office yesterday on leave, which
made for a super long weekend.

Firstly, we are aware of the issue of power status reports not being spoken
when the PK is switched off. There were some limitations which didn't allow us
to implement this feature in a timely manner during the Development of KeySoft
6.0. However, it has been raised internally for consideration in a future
KeySoft release. Keep in mind though, that it won't make it into the 6.01
release.

Regarding the battery percentage readings on the BraillNote PK, keep in mind
folks that the PK does not have a battery gauge and that percentage readings
are estimates given based on the current voltage. Ooooh, nice play on words!

Thank you for all your documentation and functionality suggestions folks. I'll
ensure that these are logged in our database, so they are seen by necessary
Humanware staff when exploring and researching future KeySoft enhancements.

A query was raised about connecting to the PK via ActiveSync. Check that a
firewall is not running on your computer, at least till you have resolved the
issue anyway. If the PK is not connected automatically as soon as you insert
the USB plug, change the setting in the utilities/misc menu that governs how
ActiveSync connects, from serial to USB. Next choose the connect to ActiveSync
option in the utilities menu and you should have a connection within seconds.

If you're told that your PC is unsupported when you look at the list of
Bluetooth devices on the PK, you obviously aren't exposing any services on the
PC side that the PK supports. You should be able to change which services are
exposed on the services tab of your PC Bluetooth software.
