Hi, Patty. Where does it say that it is not recommended? I haven't read the
entire manual in a while, but I don't remember them saying that. I always
get 3-400 messages a day; so I need to download that much anyway.
I don't think I have downloaded as much as 600, but certainly 2-300. Once I
had 600 or more messages on my bn, but I downloaded them at different times
when I was traveling to Alabama for the ACB convention last year. It was
nice to be able to read and answer email on the plane.

Hi Bob and all. I have downloaded as many as 600 plus messages without a
problem. I'm using version 5. I know it's not recommended, but I still
do it sometimes. Patti

>Hi, folks: With all of the talk, both positive and negative, about 6.1,
I have read some messages which trouble me greatly. These messages are
from folks, who have tried to download hundreds of email messages at one
time. One person mentioned 300 messages. With all due respect, that's
too many messages to download. I don't care what upgrade you're running;
i not download that many messages, there is a chance that you're going to
corrupt your database. That's a drag, because, then, you have to delete
it and re-create it. Your BNSTVN is always going to hang up, if you try
to download that many messages. If you notice that you have that many,
you should stop the process after 50 or so. 6.1 has its issues, but that
isn't one which not can pin on the upgrade. God bless. Bob and Maxy-wax
