Hello Sabahattin The media player on the PK is stereo if taking audio from the earphone jack but yes, it is mono on the BrailleNote BT and QT. Please find part of an earlier email (with a couple of words added) I sent to the list below:
The reason why the audio level is lower with earphones is that the audio amplifier reduces power output when earphones are detected. As this is a feature of the audio chip we use, we have no control on the amount of audio reduction. Now, the audio amplifier itself is a stereo amplifier. One channel is used for the speaker output and the other is used for the earphone output. However, having said that, there would need to be a design change and a lot of work done to implement stereo functionality since the CPU is also connected with the BrailleNote's media player functionality.
