If you are talking about downloading from gutenbewrg, I have had mixed
success. Once you download the files you will need to rename them with a
.bks extension so you can unpack it using the BrailleNote's bookshare unpack
utility. But beware, it may not always work, in which case you will need to
put the file onto your PC and unzip it there, then transfer it back to the
brailleNote.

> Hi. Has anyone successfulky downbboaded any of these books onto a
storage, compact flash, o! microdrive successfully? I'd prefer to get the
"text files" and I'm wondering if they'll download automatically, or must I
create a "bks extension? If anyone has used this, would he or she let me
know how this is done? I haven't tried it yet, and it's not as if I don't
have anything to read, grin. I've downloaded hundreds of web braille and
Bookshare books onto storage cards. Thanks to Rhonda and Maria, I'm now
proficient with the Online catalog of Web Braille. Hip-hip horray!
