Bill, if you can get the spreadsheat on your PC, you must first save it as a
text document. What I do, go to save as by pressing f12 on your computer,
tab once to get to the field wich reads "save as an excell worksheat", press
your down curser till you get to save as a text document. A message telling
you that some formatting will be lost will come up, but just press enter on
that. Use tab or comma as separator and then transfer the text document
back to your comuter. I hope all this make sence to you.

Subject: [Braillenote] Reading Excel spreadsheets

  Hi,

I am using Key soft 5, build 24 and would like to read Excel spreadsheets
on my Braille Note.
Is this possible, and if so how? I have tried to send the files as
attachments by email and converted it to a Key Word document and have also
tried leaving the file alone, without conversion. Either way the document
is not readable.
I was thinking maybe a newer version of Key soft might support this file
type or I can do some conversion on a PC prior to moving it to the Braille
Note, but do not exactly know how?
The data in this spreadsheet will contain both text and numeric data with
column and row headings. I will not need to change the data or
calculations, mainly just need to read it and be able to see what row or
column I am in so I will know what the data is about I am looking at. Would
be nice to be able to change the data, but not critical at this point.

Thanks for any help with this and have a great day.

Bill
