Hi, What you probably are looking for is the info on just how much you have used and also have available on your flash disk since that's where you should be storing files.
To do this: from the main menu hit f for file manager then d for directory. You should be presented with a drive list. Press the space bar to get a list of drives and the first one will probably be the flash disk. If not, keep hitting advance or space until the flash disk shows up. Don't press enter here, just press read with i on the qt keyboard or space with i on the bt keyboard. This will give you the disk name, size and available space. If you go into directory and flash disk appears you still want to get to the drive list as that's the only way you can get to the information. Actually selecting the flash dik or trying to get the info when flash is presented as the default choice will not work. If you're interested, you can get similar information on other drives in your bn by following this same procedure except that you would scroll through the drives list to the one you want and then do the read with i or space with i depending on your machine. This is a great way to get around the manual and read what is there without looking it up in the contents. However, I have searched for something concerning the memory that is resident in the BN32 and cannot find it. I have not made any choices about adding external memory, but I'd like to know how much I can get onto the BN. I have been using the Millennium 20 where one can always find out how much memory she has remaining. This kind of info does not seem to be readily available. Thanks for any help. and thank you all about the at-sign. ___ To leave the BrailleNote list, send a blank message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] To view the list archives or change your preferences, visit http://list.pulsedata.com/mailman/listinfo/braillenote
