Hi Steve,

My advice is to delete the backup and start fresh, just to be sure. However,
if you wish to check if the file has been backed up completely, do the
following.

>From the main menu, press f to enter the file manager, followed by d to
enter the directory option. Choose the flash disk, and the keylist folder,
Press space with x (read with x) so that all files are shown, then navigate
to the keylist.cdb folder. Press space with i (read with i) which will give
you the size of the file.

Now, exit back to the main menu and reenter the file manager and directory
option. This time, select the drive on which you have made your backup.
Press space with t (cont. with t) to enter the derectory mode. Now, navigate
to the subdirectory in which you have made your backup. Press enter. Now
navigate to the subdirectory entitled keylist. Press enter again. You may
now follow the same procedure of hitting space with x (read with x),
navigating to the keylist.cdb file, and pressing space with i (read with i)
to obtain the file size. If the two match, the backup has been successful.
If the second number is smaller than the first, than you were right in your
assumption that the file was not backed up successfully. HTH, Laura

Subject: [Braillenote] error message when backing up files

> Hi folks

> I tried to backup my files today and there was the following error
message: ". . . error copying file keylist.cdb file used by another process"
or something like that. Whilst I was able to retry, this didn't work. I was
able to finish the backup but am worried that keylist.cdb has not been
backed up. I know there are 205 records in this database. Is that too many?
