Depending on the message you originally received when trying to delete
messages from the trash folder, you're problem could have been fixed.
Unfortunately, because you erased your email folders.cdb file already, you
have erased every message stored in keymail, both the ones you just
downloaded and any others that you may have had stored there. For future
reference, you will know that your email database has been corrupted when
you get the message "the operation was completed successfully" when you try
to open a folder, or do anything else in keymail. If this is the message you
received, then deleting the email folders file was the only thing that could
have been done. However, this is the only case that that file should ever be
erased, unless you have already backed it up and are planning on starting
fresh. I'm sorry this has happened, unfortunately we all pretty much learn
this fact the hard way. Laura
