Hi Vicky,
As the others have basically said to you, grade 1 or 2 is translated into
Unicode characters before the email is sent so there is no need to worry
what your email is going to look like, as long as you type in the grade that
is expected, based upon your settings.
If you make a mistake and type in the incorrect grade, you can mostly
rectify this error through the block commands menu. If you do this however,
you may need to check that everything is in upper or lower case as expected
as sometimes this can change slightly for various reasons.

Well, grin, being relatively new to the BN family of note takers, a stupid

that the person on the receiving end can read it with a PC or BN or
whatever? And, if so, then what about if the e-mail is composed in

Braille? Is it then just not translated, so that it can once again be

by anyone?
I finally got home to Kentucky for a few days after Christmas; and, while
I
could get connected with my PK and cell phone and read e-mail, I was kind
of
afraid to send any e-mail, as I just wasn't sure how it would turn out on
the other end.
