Hi, It's nice to know some people have their upgrades. Here in the UK it's nearly a month since Jonathan on 31 January said the upgrade had been shipped from New Zealand. Pulsedata in the UK don't have any idea when they will be delivering my upgrade, but in any case, having heard about all these problems from people who have it, shouldn't they have been ironed out beforehand? Pulsedata/Humanware have had a year to get it right and still we don't have a product without problems.

Instead of telling people how to perform complicated keystrokes to get rid of a problem, can't Pulsedata/Humanware do whatother companies like Gwmicro do - they put a patch on their website for people to freely download. Also why can't we have public betas on the site that we can try out and send in feedback, criticisms and advice like other companies do? Also, why isn't there on Keyweb a direct button that when someone has a problem, it creates an error report, thus enabling Keysoft's problems to be fully reported automatically without the user trying to give a report which might not be fully accurate due to the user's lack of technical knowledge? Just a few thoughts.

Cheers, Steve

Subject: [Braillenote] an upgrade question

Hi Listers,
I successfully upgraded, although I did have to call tech support at one point, but I got it done. I made the changes that were put on the list for the e-mail accounts. I have a question, however. I find it annoying that every time I want to connect it asks me which configuration I want to use and after I've hit enter on the one I want then it asks me which e-mail account I want to use. I have two configurations, but one I only use when I'm traveling, and I only have one e-mail account. Is there any way to bypass this. Thanks.
