Two things occur to me:

One, are the file extensions for the books all either brf or bks
extensions?

Second, do a reset with just the reset button and no keys held; this may
bring the book title files back.

Subject: [Braillenote] flash card and missing files

Hi all,
I have a new flash card of 256 Mb size. I wrote a bunch of folders
to
it with a number of books in each folder. Most folders have as many as
ten
or more books. The total amount of storage used is about 71 Mb. When
in
the card reader all files show and can be accessed. When I insert the
card
in the BN it acknowledges the insertion as it is supposed to. I can
read
the list of folders on the flash card but when I enter the folders no
more
than two books appear to be present or seen. I can open the books and
read
them but most are missing or not seen. Can anyone explain this for me?
Is
there some limitation in the folders which prevents it from seeing the
complete list for some reason?

The BN acknowledges the amount used with precision and the folder
names
are identical but the actual files within the folder are limited to only
two
or so in all of the folders I have checked. Very odd.

    Lisa
PS: I only received this BN on Friday of last week so I might easily be
missing something very straightforward but not apparent to me.
