The scarey thing, as my fiance could tell you, is that even the flash disk is not immune to the occasional reformatting gremlin. He had to get his unit repared three times, because of a complete spontaneous reformatting of the onboard flash disk. Many of us on this list have been exposed to computers, with their collective foybles, for many years, and we all know that computers, in and among themselves, are never failsafe. My own personal method for creating indestructable data, is to use a Perkins Braille Writer or a slate and stylus. (LOL)
