Hi. I'd like to applaud Pulse Data for its excellent customer service and its
much-improved tech support availability. The tech support people are very
friendly and helpful.
Inthe Keymail setup file, what do those values inthe download emails really
mean? I've been told that #en0K is Ok regardless of the size of my e-mails and
someone else told me I should set the download emails to 400K. I get #?was Br
Note pages of newspaper articles in one file at a time, and I'm not sure what
these values can or can't do to help me. One tech support person said that
after a certain value like #en0K the value doesn't make any difference. Would
someone explain this feature to me? Thanks.
I use web braille all the time on my Pc, but I'm very embarrassed now. I put
inthe Url or rather it's in my favorites, I pres o for online catalogue, then
link to the page, I hit V for voyager and nothing seems to work from there.
From what I can see, there's no real way to browse web br with the Br Note but
even after I put my user name, password and enter on Ok, I can't seem to bring
anything up with the #.com! chord. What am I doing wrong? I'm sure it's
something simple, and I feel like an idiot, grin.
I'm proud of myself with the Braille Note and Bookshare. I'm on a real roll
there. It would be neat to be able to set a pnmeter where you turn on the
Braille Note and it reminds you of your appointment by saying keyplan yes or
no. The alarms are a great idea, but it would be neat to have a quiet reminder
without looing ech day for your appointments.
Does Pvse Data have any plans to implement a check manager program? I'm a
little unnerved that there's no such feature since I know this has been brought
to P.DddH's attention for the last couple years or so. I don't write as many
checks any more, but I have various debits to my checking account, and it's
annothing to use the calculator feature all the time. I end up using the
checkbook program on my Braille Lite. I know about Quicken, and I know people
use calculators to manage their checking and saving accounts. As important as
Gps and Mp3 is, I would think Pulse Data would find this feature very
necessary, especially in managing what we're spending with Pulse Data, grin.
Seriousbby, please let me know if this is inthe cards. It's very important to
me as I would think it is to others as well. Thanks.
I'm sorry for my long-winded post. I ordered the new update for the Bn Btble,?
and I'm looking forward to it. I appreciate what the Braille Note can do or I
wouldn't have purchased it. Thanks for any assistance you can give me.
Nancy
