The MPO has a built in mike and a slot for the sym card, it doesn't have anything else. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Horspool, Matthew F." <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "Braillenote List" <[email protected]> Sent: Thursday, February 10, 2005 12:42 AM Subject: Re: [Braillenote] An idea for the next VoiceNote/BrailleNote
Hi, It's an interesting idea, but you'd need a hardware redesign for cellular phone capabilities. Yes, you'd need a microphone, but you'd also need a cellular phone receiver and a sim card slot, and I'm sure someone else can think of something else... It's not out of the question, but I think it pro9bably is for the BrailleNote. I had a great idea for a new version of the VoiceNote/BrailleNote line of products. I think Pulse Data should make a version of the VoiceNote/BrailleNote which doubles as a cell phone. They should align themselves to a cell phone company like Version or Sprint and have it have voice activated dialling and everything. Also, for the caller Id system, you should have the new version of the VoiceNote/BrailleNote speak the name and number of the person calling instead of having it printed on a screen. Of course, it would require them to add a microphone to the original design for the talking and voice activated dialling. Also, to cope with the cell phone type system that it would incorporate into it, they should make a program called KeyMessenger for sending and receiving text messages. Whoever thinks its a cool idea should reply as soon as they get this. --------------------------------- Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo!
