Hi Mary Ellen
Well, I've been on both those lists at one time or another. Smile.
The BK sounds interesting. You said it doesn't have some of the
functionality of the BN standard products. What might it be missing, if
I can ask?

Hi Gene!
I have seen your name ever since i started being on e-mail lists. I
believe you and I were on the Jaws-llite list or the Blindcook list,
one.
I would suggest you get a Braille Note Pk for the simple reason that
its ports are more in tune with today's technology, you would have a
much faster processorand you would have bluetooth capabilities. THe
Pkdoes not have all of the features of the standard Braille Note,
however, its speed and ability to connect with the machines of today
some of whom do not have serial and parallel ports make it a good
investment. Also it has the 18 cell Braille Display and runs about
$4995 in the United States.
Just something else to think about and Oh yes/! The size, it is small
enough to fit in a suit pocket or a hand bag so give that one a think,
it is kind of the something inbetween the standard bn 18 and bn 32.
The downside of the standard Bn unless this new upgrade has rectified
this is that they have no usb ports on them thus you have to go dig up
older printers unless you would do as I do and download your material
onto your pc and print from there.

Remember! Today is the Tomorrow you thought about yesterday.
