Steve

As an alternative approach, if you use ActiveSync, you can get that to do
the conversion for you as part of the move/copy process - setting on the
Desktop to Mobile Device tab.

Hi, when I had this problem, Dean suggested I transfer the document to my
pc, which as I have a plug and play card reader connected by way of USB port
on my pc, I saved the word document to a flash card, put the flash card in
the pc's card reader, opened the document on my pc and converted the file to
a .txt file - ie when the microsoft word file is opened on the pc, go to
save as, cursor to where it says plain text file and save. If there are any
pictures or non-text in the document you will be warned that these will be
lost and you just have to tab over to ok and press enter. After
retransfering back to the BN or PK, you should be able to read the file.
Other than this method, I don't think 6x is yet able to cope directly with
this sort of problem, and whilst I believe it has been noted for inclusion
in a future release of Keysoft, how big a priority this is, I do not know.

Cheers, Steve,
