Hi Chris, The Sandisk won't work with the braillenote because it uses a different processor from that of the pk. And, as I understand it, PDI was not able to get the manufacturer to either write a driver for the braillenote or supply the necessary information, not just sure which one. But, that's the reason that only the Ambicom and Cisco cards work in the bn.

I got mine on amazon.com for around $57. There is also a card by Cisco but it is much much more expensive and also harder to find. We have Ambicom cards here and they work really well. These cards are supported starting in keysoft 6.1 and I don't know of any others which were added with the release of 6.11, so I am guessing that none were added.
