Hello,
to me it sounds like you're router is not actualy conected to the net.  You 
should have numbers for you're DNS .  these numbers are passed to your router 
from your ISP.  To test this theory you can go to options, connectivity.  Then 
active connection detailes.  key throue the settings choose test connection.  
Now type 192.  168.  1.  1  Ifthe the settings for the router are still 
defaulted you should get a responce indicating the amount of time it took.  Now 
try 12.15.88.1 if you get a time out then you are not getting to the internet.  
However if you do get a good responce then your router is not passing the DNS 
address out.  I hope that this can help.
