So even in Windows CE 4.2 and Keysoft 6.1 there is no way to transfer files
between the pacmate and the braillenote?

This won't work because you are trying to connect a client to a client. A
client needs to connect to a server. In this case, the ActiveSync server,
so to speak, is installed on the PC.

Oh, by the way, with my braillenote with Keysoft 5.1 and Windows CE 2.12
I tried to connect to activesync via infrared to my girlfriend's pacmate.
When I tried connecting, the pacmate made some noise but then I got an
error sound from the braillenote saying the connection was not
successful. Why is this?
