You can download big MP3s to a compact flash card.  I have a 1gb card with 
about 80 MP3s on it, along with a bunch of other stuff.  You can even get a 
MicroDrive, a PCMCIA card that can hold up to 5gb.  Of course, these 
MicroDrive's cost an arm and a leg.  However, the prices for CF cards are 
getting lower all the time.
