I just wondered, not being a GPS user, if the BN has to be on for the
GPS receiver to work. II know it sounds like a stupid question, and I
imagine it would have to be. However, for that reason, when I end up
getting a GPS unit, I'll probably end up getting from separate from the
BN so I can save more battery power for other tasks.

Anyway, if someone could enlighten me about the differences between the
BN GPS system and a stand-alone unit, that would be great. Anyone's
willing to contact me off-list.

Thanks.

Hi Everyone,

The one thing that I like about the Braillenote GPS is being able to
create routes. This is one thing that really stands out.

The trecker does not allow one to do this very easily.

Please don't get me wrong. The Trecker is a very nice unit, and very
practical for the money.

When purchasing any GPs product, it is good to compare, and find out
what is best to suit your needs.
