Putting your maps on a microdrive is fine. In fact, if you want maps for several states, this really is the way to go unless you have a compact flash card that
is rather large.

It's recommended that you put all the files for each state in a directory as it can get a bit complicated to figure out just which ones you need for a given
section of a state.

The files for each state take several hundred megs of space which is why you need either a large-capacity flash card or a microdrive.

When you load the maps, it's best to use a directory structure similar to that used on the cd the maps came on, unless you want several states in a single
directory so they can always be loaded.

It's recommended though that you keep the number of states loaded int the bn at one time to a minimum as loading several sets of maps at once can slow
down the braillenote.

hi all

would installing the gps maps on my microdrive be sufficient, or is a flash card required? also, if i put the maps onto the storage card into a folder, which files do i need from each directory, all of them?
