Lol, I learned what it stood for in A Plus school, but just now the exact 
wording escapes me. I think it's partly because, when I try to say the 
letters, they get twisted and I always put an extra c or m. I'll look it up 
in my notes if I find no one else has answered you.

Yes, however, when you put it in the side, the BN calls it a "storage card" 
rather than a compact flash card.  Nothing like confusion, huh? It also 
enables you to use an Ethernet card on the side if you have the PCMCIA 
adapter.  Wish I knew what PCMCIA stood for--grin!
