Terri,

I have made an index for about 500 cd's on my vn by using an ordinary
file. I use paragraphs and the star sign to indicate each new cd, with
the ISBN and names and info about each track, numerically under each
entry. By using the find command both forward and back I search and
find anything in seconds.

You can either protect the file and use keyword, or leave the file
unprotected, but when searching for something, use the book reader, in
which case the file is automatically protected and you don't have to
unprotect it every time when you add something via the use of keyword.

I know that you can also create a data base, similar to the address
list, but my method works quite sufficiently for me.

I don't exactly know how you wish to index your hymnes, but it's likely
that one of those methods will work for you too.
Regards
Riana

Dear Jonathan,

I like the way the online manual works. I only wish there was a way to
make
electronic indexes for my personal projects, such as a hymn book.

: Hi Lisa, did you know that the full manual is available in KeyWord
format
: on the KeySoft System Disk? In that way you can open it using the Book
: Reader and use the find command.
