Well I accessed the e-mail with a cell phone when I was in Chicago and when I am at home I plug my ethernet card into the bn and fire away and receive e-mail like that when my computer has crashed. I also have it set so I can use dial-up too. Actually, one day last week, things were so unbelievably slow that I was convinced my dsl connection had gone out so I connected the Braille Note up to my other phone and used the dial-up to verify that yes there were no e-mailson the server.
