Dean, I would be glad to send the misfit file to you.

To answer everyone's questions.

1. I couldn't open the file as a .rtf, no matter how many times I exported
or renamed, or named it differently.
2. I could open it as a .txt file and submitted that to Bookshare.
3. Yes I could open it on the Braillenote, but not on the PC.
4. Copying off the CF card to the Pc before attempting to open did not work.

I suspect there is some code in that file that just corrupted it, so that
the rich text format and MS word format would no longer work.

But would be glad to share it, if perhaps, it helps in the strange
happenings of the BN.

The vision must be followed by the venture. It is not enough to
stare up the steps - we must step up the stairs.

Hello Shelley,

Can you open this file on the BrailleNote?

If you continue to experience this problem, we would probably need to look
at the file in question along with the original, to see what is going on.
