I sang in a high school choir, we wore robes, I had Braille music, but
it was in a relatively small booklet and it wasn't an issue.
Getting back to printing, Word has a better spell checker, it provides a
much more robust editing environment.
However, if you don't have a PC, well, things will not be easy as the
future becomes the present. More and more printers simply don't use
legacy technology like parallel ports and serial ports.
And, most of the newer ones require driver support that cannot be found
on the Braillenote.

Which, richard, is why I just about lost it when I read that there would
be
no way for us to have usb connectivity.
Ok now for dress codes, I sang in the Cincinnati May Festival Chorus
during
the time I was in college and yes we women had to wear white dresses. As
for
the music, we had no Braille Notes at the time, but the choral dirrector
asked me to get a baige colored notebook that blended in with the covers
of
the folders usedfor the scores.
I have a sieking suspicion that that may be why the newer cases are
black
that way they could go with everything.
Sadly there are not enough dress codes.
When I was growing up and until the day my Father died, the sons and
grandsons and sons inlaw and any potential sons inlaw were required to
wear
coat and tie to dinner. It did not matter if the boys had been painting
a
house or been working under an oil pan in a car you wore a coat and tie
to
dinner and that was simply that and if you didn't well you sat in the
sun
room until the family had finished dinner. I understand from my oldest
sisters that when they were growing up they too were required to dress
for
dinner.
It just gives you a higher sense of self estime.
Ok turn the page please and let's just say that with the arrival of the
pk
it gives different strokes for different folks.
I have actually never used my bnwith a printer, preferring instead, to
simply download the information into the pc and doing the edits from
there.
1, the spell checker in ms word is far better, and 2. you get a back-up
copy
which you can keep permanently in your pc thus making room in the
braille
note for the fun things in life.
Also let's not forget the other new guy on the block the Brailliant for
those of us who have decided to forgo the stripped down versions and
have
changed to laptops and subnotebooks so we can put what we want on our
computers and we wouldn't have to deal with pocket anything but the big
boys.
Ok a lot in this message I know so I'll stop here.
Thank you for reading.
