Rhonda,
Truer words were never spoken. You can't put it any better than this!
I don't need to tell you that you belong here more than those who said you
didn't! I hope you won't let them discourage you! You're a valuable
resource.

I've even had the pleasure of people writing to me off-list asking me to stay off the
list. No matter how many "smiles and grins" we put in when we say something
mean, the sting of those words are still the same. You can't ever take those stinging

circumstance. Regards.

Bob, no need to unsubscribe. If the moderator is on the ball, this won't
happen again, at least not by this person.

Hi, folks: I am utterly shocked and appalled by this post. Whether Terry was
or was not right to ask for the commands, she certainly deserved a kinder
answer than the rude one she received. What, is she a ten-year-old? No, she's
an adult, like everyone else on this list. She had just as much of a right to
ask her question as anyone, without being given an answer, calculated to make
her feel about two inches tall. You know, when you get right down to it, most
questions, asked on the list, can be found in the manual! Maybe, we should
eliminatethe list! Actually, I don't want to eliminate the list; just the
rudeness. If you don't think a question is warranted or legitimate, don't
answer it. You don't have to rake someone over the coals. This list has
taught me a lot, but, by golly, I'll unsubscribe, if this rudeness doesn't
stop!! I hope it doesn't come to that! Thank you. God bless. Bob and Maxy-wax

Hi all,
Terry, what do you mean? If you are learning to use the book reading
feature on the BN, shouldn't your trainer be teaching you how to use
it, or shouldn't you be preparing for your class by reading the
manual? The commands for the book reader are in the manual on the BN.
If you're being trained by a competent trainer, he/she has no business
allowing you to go through the training without reading the manual!
The manual is the text book for the blessed training. Get thee to thy
manual and read it.
Now, if there is a good reason why you can't read the manual, e.g. you
have a learning disability which makes it hard for you to understand
brailled material, then a list of commands might be good. You can
read the manual with speech or with Braille. If the manual is too
difficult for you to understand, then your trainer should be able to
train you to use the BN by teaching you in the best way that matches
your learning style.
So, I guess my response to your question is still, read the manual.
Why? Because if you read the manual, then if you have problems with
something else, you will know how to use the manual to get the
information you need. <smile> I guess I'm becoming more and more
like a linuxer every day. I'd much prefer to teach you how to fish.
